For wine and food lovers - this is the best place to visit in Moldova. They offer a very professional guided tour of the vineyards and the production facilities and an amazing wine tasting. The guest rooms are just great, the food is fresh and tasty. Warm and friendly atmosphere!
The place itself is a a dream location. Not a cheap place, but a great location for a big portion of relaxation.
The restaurant experience was impecable and the same for the breackfast.
The only downside is the behavior of the lady at the reception desk. She seems to be a bit agressive. It is like she is paying the customers to come there and she is bothered about any questions. Luckily, I was prepared for her behavior as I read other reviews...Really recommend a behavioral training for the lady.
Wonderful winery. The setting is beautiful, calm and quaint. The restaurant is very good with a sophisticated menu. And the wines are just wonderful. The tour was very comprehensive and our host (Alina) was very knowledgeable. The only “but” is the prices at their shop: their top wines are much more expensive than at the airport (for example, they sell the Academia Viorica for 20,000 lei, which is more than US$110. At the airport it costs only EUR 57 (US$60). That was disappointing.
We had perfect wine tour! If you would like to taste Moldova wines and know more about wine traditions in Moldova and taste the local wines, go to Purcari. We had great time there.
Amazing place for a weekend getaway. Delicious cuisine. Spacious rooms. Prosecco for breakfast was great) make no mistake to book a tour and wine tasting.
Visited this winery during my holiday and must say our tour guide Christina was excellent with good personality made our visit so much more enjoyable, so pleased got to visit the garage department where the bottles are cleaned, x-rayed, before bottling. very interesting tour.
Visiting and doing a wine tasting was an excellent experience and perhaps the highlight of my month visiting and exploring Moldova. I can highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys wine, friendly people, and a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. ❤️
This was the worst experience of "the customer is wrong," that I have ever had. The young staff was polite and smiling, but the middle-aged woman at reception actually yelled at my friend, who is local and speaks both Romanian and Russian. We just wanted to taste some wines, but the reception person told us that we had to wait for an hour, join a tour group that would be done in a language that we don't speak, and then wait until that tour was over before we could have a tasting. So 2 hours that we didn't want to waste, before we could taste their wines. We asked if they had a bar where the previous tour group might be drinking something, and we were not politely told no, but yelled at for being too late to join that group. We went to the restaurant and ordered 4 glasses of various wines, divided each glass between the 3 of us, and found the wines to be, at best, mediocre of type. This winery has no reason at all to act so exclusive.
